You are always looking for both innovative and stable solutions which enable us to compete on a global level. Engineer Mark solves a complex, technical puzzle every day. Check out his story in the video below.
At Thales, we are building a more sustainable and safer future every day. That future takes place both physically and digitally – which is partly thanks your input! The sky is literally not the limit here, and this is something we can only achieve with innovative solutions. Would you like to work with us at Hardware Design? Below you can see a number of roles that may suit you.
As a Hardware Architect, you are continuously improving our current products and developing new solutions. You have a clear opinion, a watertight motivation and know how to bind people to you. You often work closely on requirements with Solution and Systems Engineering. You will usually also have a lot of contact with Test & Integration, Final Assembly and our Supply Chain – covering a substantial part of the end-to-end responsibility of this multidisciplinary team. High-tech radars, communication systems, command & control systems, sensors that need to keep working in extreme situations… You can really go all out!
As a Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for the costs, planning and performance of your project. You lead multidisciplinary teams full of (system) architects, hardware specialists, software and test engineers who work together on the development of new radar systems/products. These teams work together with internal departments and external companies to create our products, often in an international environment. We’re talking about project management at a very high technical level here. But with your experience that’s no problem, of course!
Your area of work as an Antenna/RF Engineer includes developing new antenna and/or microwave concepts, introducing new technologies, and developing new antenna designs. What you do in this role, you do everything from development to product realization, with the goal of achieving high system performance at affordable development costs. Depending on your personal interests, we encourage you to develop further towards concept development, detail design or programme management. You can determine your own personal growth.
Multidisciplinary teams, international projects and new technologies – you can be sure that you will never be bored here. Moreover, we think it is important that you have the space to develop – and we encourage that! And then let us mention the 40 days off per year, a nice end-of-year bonus and the flexibility to organize your working hours (and workplace!). Click below for our current job opportunities.
